Mobile phone Pantech U4000 was realized in 2006. It supports networks GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900, and supports data transfer technology such as GPRS. The device is equipped with Li-Ion battery 820 mAh.
The Pantech U4000 features only 95×43×16.5mm. It supports 1.9″ TFT internal screen, 1.3-MP external digital camera for video conferring purpose, a 3.0-MP digital camera for snapping photos, music player that plays MP3/ACC and UMTS network support for downloading movies and music, the Pantech U4000 cellular phone is considered not that advanced and cool 3G cellular phone.
Other features include Bluetooth, a Micro SD card slot and an MP3 player. Pantech has supplied the U4000 to Orange, the largest mobile service carrier in France since November 2006, marking Pantech’s first partnership with a Europe-based global mobile operator. Other features also include HTML-browser and the ability to install JAVA-applications.
