In 1991 the company Pantech began the development of modern means of communication, concentrating on the technical development of producing Pantech phones. Pantech is a mobile handset manufacturer and provider of mobile communications solutions. The company provides GSM handsets for Claro in Brazil, Telemig and Oi, and in Mexico it has a partnership with mobile operator Telcel. The company includes more than 5,000 employees and 20 regional sales offices worldwide, with factories in Korea, China and Mexico.
